Check out the Details and Submit your entry today!

After reading and viewing a recent NAPCP publication (that I have shared below for you to see), I found myself not only inspired but excited!

The article brought to light that for many new mom’s – nurseries are rooms that hours of  time and though go in too.  This is what sparked the decision to run this contest.

Nurseries are creations that will become a memory of those early days in your baby’s life.

Whether you did or didn’t have a designers help isn’t relative to this particular contest.  Having said that submissions of  “Do it yourself projects” are indeed welcomed.

Outcome if you are a successful candidate is that  your nursery will be featured on my website and will  include some particulars about how your nursery came to be.

The publication will also include some shots of you, if you are expecting/or you and your newborn or you and your baby.   Baby’s age can be 18 months or younger.

As a keepsake the successful candidates will receive a complimentary set of premium packaged 5×7 linen prints from the shots  that end up being published.

There will be an option available for additional prints if desired and/or the digital negatives – they are to be purchased separately, but there is no obligation to do so.

Submission Details:

If your nursery meets some or all of the following criteria, you can message me through facebook with a few shots of your room, and whether you are expecting or the age of your baby.

Your nursery location must be within the Athabasca County or City of Edmonton and or immediate northerly surrounding area of Edmonton.

What I am looking for is:

  1.    A room with character and charm – can be either for a girl, boy or gender neutral
  2.   Vintage, antique, thrifted, refurbished items/ Or a mix of modern and historical
  3.   Unique  baby items, trinkets, toys, books, etc.

All submissions meeting the requirements will be taken into consideration.

I will make a decision and contact everyone to let them know whether or not their submission is successful or not.

Let the fun begin, and send in your submission today!

Of course keeping in mind that your nursery will be unique all it’s own, here is the link of the collaborative effort of Designer, Janice Shulte and Photographer, Rhonda Dent, that had initially inspired me to run this contest.   Thank you ladies and also  NAPCP for publishing and sharing this lovely article.
