Editing these few wintery shots reminds me that soon the holiday season will be here and we will be with family.  It will be our second year with Meadow being a part of the Christmas holidays.  It is hard to believe she has changed so much since last year.  Time passes so quickly that I was glad to have captured (the baby that is still in her) on this winter sleigh.

As parents and grandparents we are always celebrating all of the new things children learn to do and or master.  And yes of course we should, that is what parenting and grandparenting is all about.  But for anyone who knows me well, they would know that I love to capture the baby side of tots and preschool children.  These tender years pass by so quickly and before you know it they are gone forever.  I don’t always aim to edit that perfect shot where they are looking and smiling at me, but instead to choose the ones where those little innocent looks are seen – looks that will soon be gone forever.  Ones where their eyes show they are our babies and the looks that melt us.  These are the shots that I love and cherish.

So far she is still the family’s baby and we love her to the moon and back.
